Hoymiles hosted its StorageNext 2026 event in New Delhi, where the company introduced a range of new BESS and power conversion system (PCS) solutions aimed at the Indian utility-scale market.

The event was held under the theme “Scale. Stability. Sustainability.” and focused on large-scale energy storage technologies designed to support grid reliability and renewable energy integration in India. More than 150 representatives from Indian energy companies, including BESS developers and EPC firms, attended the event.

During the event, Hoymiles showcased a range of new storage products such as 5 MWh and 6.25 MWh DC containers, HPCS3500-E, HPCS1725-E and HPCS1250-E systems, as well as a 6.25 MWh AC container. According to the company, the systems include modular architecture, liquid cooling and smart monitoring features for easier deployment and system management.

The containerized storage systems are intended for utility-scale applications and include features such as predictive maintenance support and thermal management. Hoymiles stated that the PCS products offer efficiency levels above 99% and are suitable for on-grid, off-grid and hybrid energy projects.

During the event, Hoymiles signed a strategic agreement with REPLUS Engitech Private Limited to collaborate on battery energy storage and integrated energy solutions in India. The partnership will combine Hoymiles’ storage and PCS technologies with REPLUS local engineering and integration capabilities to support deployment of utility-scale and commercial energy storage systems.

REPLUS Engitech is a technology-driven manufacturing startup recognized by the Government of India's DPIIT and backed by the LNJ Bhilwara Group. REPLUS designs and manufactures advanced lithium-ion battery packs, Battery Management Systems, Energy Management Systems and turnkey utility-scale BESS.

At the event, Guy Rong said India is entering a phase where large-scale energy storage is becoming increasingly important for grid stability and renewable energy integration. He added that the newly launched BESS products were developed with consideration for Indian grid requirements and local market conditions.

Hoymiles said it has operated in Indian market for more than five years and set up a local team over two years ago. It said further expansion of local operations and partnerships is planned as more large-scale storage projects move forward in the Indian market.

The company has previously supplied products for India’s distributed solar and energy storage markets, including microinverters, PCS systems and energy management technologies. With the StorageNext 2026 launch, the company is placing greater focus on utility-scale battery energy storage projects as India adds more renewable energy capacity and upgrades grid infrastructure.
