Shenzhen-based portable power technology company, FOSSiBOT, has introduced the F7200 to the United States as a high-capacity portable power station for residential, outdoor and emergency applications. The system is described as an industrial-grade unit with 7200 W output, modular expansion options, and multiple charging inputs for varied operating conditions.
Power and Capacity
The F7200 offers a base capacity of 5222.4 Wh, which can be expanded to 15.67 kWh with two FB5222 battery units. It also delivers 7200 W of AC power and supports both 120 V and 240 V operation. This configuration enables the unit to run various household appliances, tools, or equipment that require higher voltage.
The system is integrated with a proprietary FOSSiBOT App, through which users can access to real-time data usage, set charging schedules, and configure solar input preferences. The system applies an internal allocation method that prioritizes solar charging when available, allowing charging sources to be managed according to user settings and resource conditions.
System Configuration
According to the company, the F7200 offers adjustable AC charging from 600 W to 3000 W. It supports solar input through two ranges: 120–450 V up to 2500 W and 12–55 V up to 1200 W. When AC and solar inputs are used together, the hybrid charging rate can reach 5200 W. Under suitable conditions, this enables the system to complete a full recharge in about 1.5 hours. The internal control system assigns priority to available solar input before drawing power from AC sources.
The F7200 uses EVE LiFePO₄ cells and a nine-layer protection system managed by an internal Battery Management System. It includes a UPS-grade switching function that activates backup power in about 10 ms. The unit also retains 96.8% capacity after three months due to its low self-discharge design.
In terms of pricing, FOSSiBOT F7200 is available for $2,999. The FB5222 expansion battery is available for $1,999. Both are available on the company’s official website.
