TINC, a Belgium-based listed infrastructure investor, is investing €11 million (~$12,696,200) in two BSTOR-developed BESS projects in Belgium. Infravest, the infrastructure joint venture of Gimv, WorxInvest, and Belfius, is contributing another €11 million, taking the combined investment to €22 million. TINC is funding its contribution through its available €300 million revolving credit facility.

The transaction covers DSTOR and Estor-Lux II, which have a combined capacity of 150 MW/410 MWh. DSTOR is a 50 MW/140 MWh project in La Louvière and has been operational since March 2026. BSTOR developed the installation with Duferco Wallonie, which operates in brownfield redevelopment, logistics services, and energy investments.

Estor-Lux II is a 100 MW/270 MWh project in Aubange. The installation is due to be energised and is expected to become fully operational in October 2026. BSTOR is developing the project with SOPAER and SOCOFE, two Walloon investment companies involved in renewable energy and environmental transition projects.

BSTOR has brought three projects to financial close, representing 160 MW/430 MWh of installed capacity and approximately €200 million of total investment. Its ownership structure includes GreenStor, Wallonie Entreprendre, and BEWATT. GreenStor is owned by CFE and Ackermans & van Haaren, while BEWATT is associated with Bruno Vanderschueren. BSTOR has sourced approximately €125 million of fully non-recourse financing, and its revenue structure is exposed to merchant markets.

The latest transaction raises TINC's total battery storage commitment to approximately €100 million across five projects in Belgium and the Netherlands. These projects represent 800 MW/3,067 MWh of combined capacity. The portfolio includes TINC's €61 million investment in Project Mufasa in 2025 and its €23 million investment in Storm BESS in March 2026.

TINC's investment combines an indirect equity participation with a subordinated loan facility. BSTOR aims to develop approximately 1.5 GW of battery storage projects over the next five years. Its projects provide flexibility services to the power grid, supporting system stability and further renewable energy integration.
