Stand: Hall 16, Booth A90

FIMER India is exhibiting at REI Expo 2026 in Hall 16, at Booth A90, at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The company is the Indian arm of Italy's FIMER, which took over the solar inverter business of ABB, and it builds its string and central inverters at a plant in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The largest unit on the stand is the PVS990-2000 central inverter. According to the datasheet that is displayed at the booth, it is rated at 1,700 kVA nominal and 2,040 kVA maximum. It accepts up to seven DC inputs from arrays of up to 1,500 V, with an MPPT range of 935 V to 1,350 V and a maximum DC current of 2,300 A, and its AC side runs at 660 V and 50 or 60 Hz.

The inverter's power factor can be set anywhere from zero to one, leading or lagging, and its total harmonic distortion is held at 3% or less. Such control over reactive power is now being asked for more often, because Indian tenders increasingly place solar plants and battery blocks behind a single point of connection and expect the plant to support the grid.

For string-based designs, the company has also brought the PVM-75/125-TL, which is sold in ratings from 75 kW to 125 kW. Beside it stands a concept unit of the PVM-415-TL, a utility string inverter of up to 415 kW at 800 Vac, which has been marked as coming soon.
