Ashbee Energy Systems is exhibiting at REI Expo 2026 in Hall 5, at Booth 5.53, at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The company makes lithium-ion batteries in India and sells its storage systems under the Magnum name, and a banner on its stand presents the range as Magnum BESS for commercial and industrial users.
The largest product in its brochure is a 20-foot container, which is cooled by liquid and holds 5,015 kWh. According to the brochure, the container has been built from 12 racks of 104.5 kWh, and each of the racks is made of LFP cells of 314 Ah. The system runs at a rated 1,331.2 V, and it can be charged and discharged at up to 0.5P with a depth of discharge of 100%.
The design has been aimed at a long service life and a low running cost. The container is rated for at least 8,000 cycles, and its cooling system keeps the difference in cell temperatures below 3 degrees Celsius, while a compressor with a variable-frequency drive lowers the system's own power use. The enclosure is rated IP55, with C4 corrosion protection as standard and C5 as an option, and fire protection is provided by an aerosol system together with a water spray.
For smaller sites, the brochure also lists all-in-one Magnum systems of 1 MWh and 2 MWh, which are cooled by liquid as well. The company says that its battery systems, taken together, run from 100 kWh up to 5 MWh.
