Commercial and industrial energy storage provider HIZENERGY has completed the deployment of its 125 kW EnerBox all-in-one energy storage system at a building materials manufacturing facility, demonstrating an integrated commercial and industrial (C&I) energy solution that combines rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) generation, battery energy storage and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
The project makes use of the factory's available rooftop area to install new solar PV panels that operate together with the EnerBox battery storage system and on-site EV charging piles. The integrated configuration enables the facility to generate, store and consume renewable electricity within a single coordinated energy management platform.
The EnerBox is designed to integrate multiple energy functions into one cabinet rather than relying on separate systems for solar generation, battery storage and EV charging. By coordinating these functions the system helps balance intermittent solar generation with changing industrial electricity demand and vehicle charging requirements.
According to HIZENERGY, the deployment increases an on-site solar self-consumption by storing excess daytime generation for later use, reducing dependence on electricity supplied from the grid. The battery storage system also performs peak shaving by supplying stored electricity during periods of high demand, helping lower electricity costs and improve operational efficiency. In electricity markets that permit energy trading, the system can also support additional revenue opportunities by enabling flexible energy management.
The integrated design is intended to improve power stability at industrial facilities where production equipment and EV charging loads can fluctuate significantly throughout the day. Coordinated energy management reduces stress on the local grid while improving the utilization of renewable electricity generated on-site.
HIZENERGY develops commercial and industrial battery energy storage solutions centered on its self-developed Power Conversion System (PCS), which serves as the core technology of its product portfolio. The firm is dedicated to providing energy storage systems that are smart, reliable and safe and help integrate renewable energy into the system.
With a rise in the demand for manufacturing plants looking to reduce their operational expenses and use more renewable energy, the integration of C&I energy storage systems is becoming increasingly significant in the context of industrial energy needs. Solutions such as EnerBox can be used by manufacturers to enhance energy resilience, optimize their electricity use and achieve sustainability goals.
