IGC, an energy infrastructure investment platform, develops and finances large power projects. These include battery storage, hybrid energy hubs, and dedicated power for data centers. It works across North America, with a focus on California, Texas, and the Southeastern US. NeoVolta Inc. has announced a binding capacity reservation agreement for BESS. Its subsidiary, NeoVolta Power, signed the deal with Infinite Grid Capital, also known as IGC. The equipment is meant for Northern Ontario Edge AI data center projects. Deliveries are set for calendar year 2027.
About $53 million of manufacturing capacity is reserved under the agreement for the Pendergrass plant in Georgia. This is the first commercial commitment under a framework announced earlier. The framework covers about 1.1 GWh of possible BESS deployments and about $200 million of supply across several markets.
The Pendergrass facility covers 210,600 square feet. It was built to assemble commercial, industrial, and utility-scale storage products. The first production line is in commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing. Production is on track to ramp up in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Cell supply is handled under a separate agreement. On August 31, 2026, NeoVolta announced a five-year deal with SK On. It secures 9 GWh of US-made lithium iron phosphate cells for NeoVolta Power. That volume is far larger than the 1.1 GWh framework with IGC. It gives the plant a domestic cell source as orders come in.
NeoVolta says AI and data center growth is raising demand for reliable power. It expects storage to support grid reliability, load management, and site resilience.
Ardes Johnson, CEO of NeoVolta, said the agreement validates the platform built at Pendergrass. He said the company will now focus on delivering this first commitment. It will also try to convert more qualified demand into binding orders. NeoVolta plans to share further updates on commissioning, manufacturing, and commercial activity.
