Executive summary

At REI Expo 2026 in Greater Noida, India, MESNAC, a China-based supplier of battery production equipment, has presented its turnkey lines for cell gigafactories and pilot plants. Prismatic cells of 100 Ah to 1,175 Ah were placed at the front of its stand, and its board stated that the plants which it has supported for its clients have reached a cumulative capacity of more than 3,000 GWh.

  • Company: MESNAC

  • Offer: Turnkey cell lines

  • Uses: BESS, EV, solid-state

  • Cells shown: 100 to 1,175 Ah

  • Client capacity: >3,000 GWh

  • Materials: LFP, sodium-ion lines

MESNAC exhibited at REI Expo 2026 in Hall 3, at Booth 3.34, at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The company supplies the machines and the complete lines on which battery cells and battery materials are produced, and its stand had therefore been arranged around the making of cells.

At the front of the stand, four prismatic cells of 100 Ah, 314 Ah, 587 Ah and 1,175 Ah had been set on white plinths in a single row, so that the rise in cell size could be followed from one end to the other. Further inside, a scale model of a cell plant had been placed on a table.

A board beside the model has described the company's turnkey solutions for BESS, EV mobility and solid-state batteries, and it has traced a gigafactory line from start to finish. Raw materials are carried by automated logistics into slurrying and coating; the electrodes are then calendered, slit and die-cut, and they are wound or stacked into cells. Formation and grading are carried out last, before the cells are sent to the finished-goods warehouse. The same process has also been offered at a smaller scale as a pilot line.

According to the board, the plants of the company's clients have reached a cumulative capacity of more than 3,000 GWh, and the logos that were shown beside this figure included those of CATL, BYD, EVE, LG and SK On. A brochure at the stand has also listed production lines for LFP and sodium-ion battery materials.
