Executive summary

HYXI, a Chinese manufacturer of solar inverters and energy storage systems, has brought its Halo micro energy storage range to REI Expo 2026 in Greater Noida, India. The home system has been built from 3 kWh battery blocks that can be stacked to 18.086 kWh, and it is being offered in an AC-coupled version as well as a version that takes solar power directly.

HYXI has brought its Halo micro energy storage range to REI Expo 2026 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, where the company is exhibiting in Hall 15, Booth C279. The Chinese manufacturer, which was previously known as HYXiPOWER, makes photovoltaic inverters, battery energy storage systems and smart energy platforms, and it says that it holds more than 100 core intellectual properties.

The Halo series was first launched at Intersolar Europe in June 2026, and it has been designed as a compact battery for homes that can be installed in about five minutes. Each unit is built around a 3,014 Wh battery block, and the blocks can be stacked to reach a total of 18.086 kWh. According to the company's brochures, the battery has been rated for 10,000 cycles, carries a 10-year warranty and IP66 protection, and can keep operating at -20°C with the help of self-heating. Its cells are of automotive grade, and the system has been given five levels of safety protection, one of which is an aerosol fire suppressant.

Two versions are being shown at the stand. The Halo AC-Coupled Micro ESS pairs the battery with a 3,000 W bidirectional inverter, so that it can be connected to any existing solar system, and it can also supply 3,000 W of off-grid power for portable use. The Halo PV All-in-One Micro ESS, on the other hand, takes solar power directly through four MPPTs with a combined input of 2,400 W, and it has a 1,500 W bidirectional inverter with 2,300 W of off-grid output. A Halo 5 AC-coupled model has also been placed alongside them.

The company is presenting its HXY-H6/8K-LS, a low-voltage, single-phase hybrid inverter of 6 kW and 8 kW, as its main product at the show. According to its brochure, the inverter works with batteries from several brands and can run alongside a diesel generator, while up to six units can be paralleled for grid-tied or off-grid homes.

Beyond home storage, HYXI is displaying utility PV and storage systems, including a container ESS, as well as string inverters that range from small residential units up to its 350 kW HYX-S350K-HT for utility-scale plants.
