Approximately 1.18 lakh products were sold by Smarten Power Systems during Q1 FY27, including home UPS systems, solar PCUs, batteries and solar panels. The company also opened a 5,200 sq. ft. warehouse, added 32 distributors across nine states and recorded monthly in-house battery production of 6,600 units.

During the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Smarten Power Systems, an India-based manufacturer and supplier of power backup and solar energy products, sold approximately 1.18 lakh units. The sales covered home UPS systems, solar power conditioning units, batteries and solar panels. The company linked demand for power backup products to higher summer temperatures and increased electricity consumption in parts of northern India.

The company commissioned an additional 5,200 sq. ft. warehouse in Gurugram, Haryana, during the quarter. The facility was added to support inventory management and dispatch operations serving northern and north-western markets. Smarten also onboarded 32 distributors across nine states, extending its distribution network across North, East, West and South India.

Smarten introduced the HELIX 1100-1250 series of maximum power point tracking solar PCUs during the quarter. The product launch expanded its range of solar power conditioning units for residential and commercial applications. The company also introduced two battery models as part of its energy storage product portfolio.

Monthly in-house battery production reached approximately 6,600 units in June 2026 at the company's manufacturing facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. Smarten is also developing another manufacturing facility, which is expected to increase production capacity after commissioning. The filing did not provide the new facility's location, planned capacity or commissioning schedule.

Smarten expanded its in-house after-sales service operations while continuing to use its franchise service centre network. Rajnish Sharma, Whole Time Director and Chief Executive Officer, said the company had invested in manufacturing, distribution and service infrastructure to respond to changing demand for power backup and solar products.

The company designs, assembles and supplies home UPS systems, solar inverters, solar PCUs and solar charge controllers. It operates across 23 states and 3 union territories in India and exports products other than solar panels to more than 17 countries across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.
