Marstek Energy unveiled new residential and small-scale energy storage solutions at EnerGaïa 2025, introducing the updated VENUS series and additions to the MARS I PLUS ecosystem. The highlight was the VENUS G, a stackable 5 kW AC-coupled system that uses 500 V V-Boost technology, a 10-kW peak bidirectional inverter, and 5 kWh–30 kWh modular capacity. MARSTEK also showcased the VENUS D (AC Version), a plug-in ESS delivering 2.5 kW bidirectional on-grid and backup power with expandable storage of up to 15.36 kWh, along with a single-phase 7 kW EV AC charger designed for integration with the MARS I PLUS system. 

China-based energy storage solutions provider, Marstek Energy, introduced its latest residential and small-scale energy storage systems at the EnerGaïa renewable energy forum in Montpellier in December 2025. 

The company showcased its VENUS residential energy storage product line, along with new updates to the MARS I PLUS ecosystem. The announcement highlighted AC-coupled storage options, plug-in ESS configurations, and a dedicated EV AC charging unit.  

The key element of the announcement is MARSTEK VENUS G, a stackable 5 kW AC-coupled ESS that uses 500 V V-Boost technology for individual battery control. According to the company, the system incorporates a bidirectional inverter delivering 10 kW peak output, sub-10 ms backup switching, and modular storage capacity ranging from 5 kWh to 30 kWh. It supports 7.5 kW AC PV input for integration with Enphase, SolarEdge and other PV Systems. The configuration supports retrofit installation and enable system monitoring via an app with several communication interfaces. 

The single-phase 7 kW EV AC charger was also outlined as part of the MARS I PLUS system. It includes adaptive load balancing, IP54 and IK10 protection ratings, and ISO 15118 hardware readiness, supporting controlled and flexible EV charging across residential installations.  

Another element presented was the MARSTEK VENUS D (AC Version), a plug-in ESS that provides 2.5 kW bidirectional on-grid power with peak backup capability up to 2.5 kW. Its modular stackable configuration ranges from 2.56 kWh to 15.36 kWh, and its AI-based forecasting and grid-interaction functions support efficient operation aligned with applicable energy-use policies.
