Executive summary

ACME Greentech Seventh commissioned the 52.32 MW / 209.28 MWh second BESS phase of ACME Solar's FDRE project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, on 17 September 2026, according to a stock exchange filing. Commissioned BESS capacity there now stands at 105.95 MW / 423.80 MWh out of 300 MW / 1,200 MWh, with commercial operation set for 19 September.

ACME Solar Holdings Limited, an India-based integrated renewable energy company, has commissioned Phase-II of the BESS at its FDRE project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The work was carried out through ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary. According to the company's filing with BSE and NSE, the 52.32 MW / 209.28 MWh phase was commissioned on 17 September 2026 and is set to reach commercial operation on 19 September.

The project is in Kelan village, Chhatargarh tehsil, Bikaner district. Its full BESS component is 300 MW / 1,200 MWh of discharge capacity, the filing says, and ACME Greentech Seventh has now commissioned 105.95 MW / 423.80 MWh of it. ACME Solar expects the rest to be commissioned by Q3 of the current fiscal year.

The first phase was reported days earlier. In a press release dated 16 September, ACME Solar described that phase as 53.63 MW / 300 MWh of BESS capacity out of a project total of 300 MW / 1,581 MWh, and called the project its first assured off-peak power supply project. The Phase-II filing labels its 1,200 MWh total as discharge capacity.

The Power Purchase Agreement for the project has been signed with SJVN Limited, and REC is providing long-term project financing. The Kelan site also hosts Phase-I of ACME Solar's first hybrid project, where subsidiary ACME Renewtech Private Limited has commissioned 66.68 MW of solar out of a planned 300 MW. That hybrid project combines 300 MW of solar with 100 MW of wind under a PPA with NTPC Limited.

ACME Solar Holdings Limited is an integrated renewable energy company with a contracted portfolio of 8,370 MW spanning solar, wind, storage, FDRE and hybrid solutions. After the Phase-I commissioning, it reported an operational capacity of about 3,057 MW and 4.16 GWh of BESS capacity.
