Clearway Energy Group has brought the Pine Forest Energy Center online in Hopkins County, Texas, comprising 300 MW of solar generation and 200 MW of battery storage. Representing a $685 million investment, the project enhances grid reliability, supports over 100,000 homes, and is backed by long-term virtual power purchase agreements with Dell Technologies and Universal Corporation.
