Sungrow and Delta Capacity have signed a 1 GWh framework agreement to deploy Sungrow’s PowerTitan 2.0 battery energy storage systems across Europe in 2026. The partnership supports Delta Capacity’s strategy to build a diversified pan-European BESS portfolio spanning Scandinavia, Germany, and Central and Southern Europe, enabling grid flexibility, energy trading participation, and improved renewable integration across multiple electricity markets.

China-based PV inverter and energy storage technology provider, Sungrow and Switzerland-based utility-scale BESS developer, Delta Capacity have signed a 1 GWh framework agreement for the deployment of battery energy storage systems (BESS) across multiple European markets.
The agreement was signed at the Energy Storage Summit held in London. Under the agreement, the Sungrow will supply its PowerTitan 2.0 energy storage solution with project deliveries and deployment scheduled within 2026.
According to the company, the system uses an integrated AC-DC block architecture that combines pre-assembled battery modules with power conversion systems (PCS), enabling simplified installation and reduced deployment timelines. The technology is designed to support grid balancing, ancillary services and energy trading operations within electricity markets.
The partnership supports Delta Capacity’s strategy to develop a diversified portfolio of utility-scale battery storage assets across Europe, targeting long-term ownership and operation. The company is currently developing and acquiring projects across Scandinavia, Germany, Southern Europe and Central Europe while focusing on system efficiency, reliability across the project development and operations.
Delta Capacity develops, acquires, owns and operates utility-scale battery storage systems across Europe. The company currently has nearly 800 MWh of storage capacity under construction and is targeting the development, commissioning and operation of more than 6 GWh of flexible storage assets by 2030. One of its ongoing projects includes a large battery storage installation in Ånge, Sweden, which is among the largest projects under development in the Nordic region.
As of December 2025, the company reported more than 1,000 GW of installed power electronic converters globally. Sungrow’s energy storage portfolio includes several large-scale projects in Europe, including an 800 MWh BESS project in Belgium and the 330 MWh Bramley energy storage project in the United Kingdom.
The agreement between Sungrow and Delta Capacity establishes a framework for the deployment of large-scale battery storage systems designed to support electricity market participation and grid system flexibility across European power networks.
Patrik Hes, Founder and CEO of Delta Capacity, said the agreement supports the company’s plan to develop a large-scale BESS portfolio across multiple European markets with long-term asset ownership.
James Li, Vice President and Director ESS at Sungrow Europe, said the framework agreement combines Sungrow’s PowerTitan 2.0 technology with Delta Capacity’s project execution for battery storage deployments in Europe.
