Executive Summary

A new order has been confirmed by Pace Digitek Limited through its subsidiary Lineage Power Private Limited. The order comes from NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited and covers the supply, testing, and commissioning of 5.015 MWh BESS containers, along with battery management and energy management systems, for the BESS project at NTPC's Barh Super Thermal Power Plant.

Pace Digitek, a prominent Indian technology and engineering infrastructure solutions provider headquartered in Bengaluru, operates through two business segments, Energy and Telecom & ICT. Its energy segment covers BESS design, manufacturing, system integration and deployment, largely delivered through Lineage Power. The telecom segment focuses on power systems for telecom infrastructure, along with EPC and O&M work across fibre and digital infrastructure projects in India.

The company announced a new order secured by its material subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited. NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited awarded the contract, which is tied to the BESS project at Barh STPP under NTPC Stages I and II.

The scope covers supply, delivery, testing, and supervision of erection, testing, and commissioning of BESS containers rated at 5.015 MWh. Battery management systems and energy management systems are included in the package. Support does not end at commissioning. The order carries five years of annual maintenance service and a further seven-year extended warranty on the battery containers, giving the deployment twelve years of combined lifecycle coverage.

Lineage Power is positioned within the group as a product-led BESS business. Its operations include manufacturing, product supply, system integration, and lifecycle support.

On manufacturing capacity, the company operationalized 2.5 GWh in 2025 and has since expanded this to 5 GWh. Plans are in place to scale further to 10 GWh by the third quarter of FY2027.

Venugopalrao Maddisetty, Chairman and Managing Director of Pace Digitek Limited, commented on the order. He noted that it supports LPPL's positioning as a product-led BESS business, combining supply, commissioning, and long-term support in a single scope. He added that the company intends to keep investing in capabilities needed across the full lifecycle of energy storage deployments, covering both utility-scale and emerging C&I requirements.
