EVE Energy Co., Ltd., a global lithium battery manufacturer has signed energy storage agreements exceeding 67 GWh during the SNEC PV Photovoltaic Power Conference & Exhibition held in Shanghai from June 3 to 5, 2026. The company presented its 6.9+ MWh battery energy storage system and Mr. Big Family product series.

The Guangdong-based battery manufacturer showcased its full-scenario energy storage portfolio at the exhibition, with a focus on large-format battery systems for utility-scale and commercial storage applications. The 6.9+ MWh system, designed in a standard 20-foot container format, was presented as part of the company’s latest generation of high-capacity battery energy storage solutions.

According to the company, the system uses higher-capacity cells, cell-to-pack integration and optimized internal space design to increase system-level energy density. The configuration is intended to reduce upfront capital costs by enabling more energy storage capacity within a compact containerized footprint.

The "Mr. Big Family" series represents EVE Energy's proprietary line of ultra-large-capacity battery hardware designed specifically to transition the utility-scale sector from standard 280Ah cells to higher-density configurations.

The product also includes thermal management and intelligent equalization technologies to support stable operating conditions across the battery system. EVE Energy said the system can achieve more than 10,000 cycles, supported by temperature control measures and a multi-layer safety architecture that includes tiered protection and intelligent fire suppression functions.

EVE Energy stated that its large-format cell manufacturing base has already produced more than 3.7 million cells for energy storage applications. The company added that its GWh-scale delivery record is intended to support project execution for global customers as storage demand increases across renewable energy markets.

The company entered into several contractual agreements with Shanghai Electric Power Electronics Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Vertrans Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Savant Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Tianjin RY Energy Co., Ltd., and Genesis Energia e Tecnologia Ltda., an energy solution company from Brazil. The total contractual capacity of the agreements signed exceeded 67 GWh.

Senior Vice President Steven Chen and EVE Energy’s management team also held discussions with industry participants and supply chain partners during the event. The meetings focused on large-format battery technology trends, high-capacity storage applications, global production capacity coordination and supply chain cooperation.

These arrangements coincide with energy storage companies making larger-scale containerized systems in order to enable renewable energy deployment, as well as managing peak loads on the grid. According to EVE Energy, it plans to maintain its commitment to the manufacture of large format batteries, R&D in-house and stable supply.
