Delta, a provider of power conversion and energy management technologies, showcased its central solar inverters, battery energy storage power conditioning systems and prefabricated DC power solutions at Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) 2026. The exhibits included a 2.5 MW Power Conditioning System (PCS), a 4.4 MW Central PV Inverter, a 1.1 MW Central Inverter and a prefabricated Solid-State Transformer (SST)-based DC solution.

The 2.5 MW Power Conditioning System is designed for utility-scale and industrial battery energy storage applications. It enables bidirectional power conversion between battery storage and the electricity grid, supporting peak shaving, renewable energy integration, power backup and ancillary services. The system has a rated AC output of 2,500 kVA, maximum efficiency exceeding 99% and CEC efficiency above 98.5%.

Its DC voltage range is 1,000–1,500 V, with a nominal AC voltage of 690 V and nominal frequency of 50 Hz. The PCS supports grid-connected and islanded operation, active and reactive power control, frequency and voltage regulation, and grid-forming capability with VSG control. Delta also highlighted modular TCP/IP and RS-485 communication, LCD and Web-HMI monitoring, and IP65 protection for outdoor applications.

Delta additionally displayed its 4.4 MW Central PV Inverter, designed for utility-scale solar installations. The inverter delivers 4.48 MW at 51°C and 5.4 MW below 23°C, with European efficiency of 98.79% and peak efficiency of 99.1%. It incorporates four independent maximum power point trackers (MPPTs) to optimise solar energy harvesting.

The inverter supports a maximum DC voltage of 1,500 V, operates at 50/60 Hz and has a specified design life of 25 years. Its grid support functions include LVRT, HVRT, reactive power compensation and remote monitoring. Delta also exhibited its 1.1 MW Central Inverter cabinets, although detailed technical specifications were not visible in the supplied display photographs.

Another exhibit was Delta's Prefabricated SST-based DC Solution, presented under the theme From Power Conversion to Energy Support. The display highlighted conversion efficiency of up to 98.5% and deployment up to 50% faster.

The solution incorporates density optimisation through a reduced footprint, unified control for millisecond-level response and AI thermal management using adaptive cooling to reduce auxiliary power consumption.

Together, the exhibits presented Delta's power conversion technologies for utility-scale photovoltaic generation, battery energy storage, electricity grid integration and DC power infrastructure. The displayed specifications emphasised conversion performance, operating flexibility, system monitoring and grid support functionality.
