Chinese battery manufacturer Highstar showcased its prismatic lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cell portfolio at Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) 2026. The exhibition displays featured battery cells ranging from 25 Ah to 588 Ah, covering Series 40, Series 50 and higher-capacity configurations. The company presented technical specifications, including charge and discharge rates, cycle life, dimensions and applicable safety certification markings.

The Series 40 portfolio included 100 Ah and 107 Ah cells with charge/discharge rates of 0.5C/0.5C. The 100 Ah model was specified with 2,000+ cycles, while the 107 Ah model offered 3,500+ cycles. Highstar also displayed 25 Ah and 50 Ah cells, both rated at 0.5C/0.5C with a cycle life of 3,500+ cycles.

The Series 50 range featured three 100 Ah configurations identified as Model P3, Model M3 and Model E3. These models offered cycle lives of 6,000+, 3,500+ and 2,000+ cycles, respectively, with 0.5C/0.5C charge/discharge rates. An additional 85 Ah Series 50 cell was displayed with a 1C/1C charge/discharge rate and 500+ cycles.

Highstar also presented larger-capacity LFP cells rated at 105 Ah, 314 Ah, 392 Ah and 588 Ah. The 105 Ah cell was specified with 3,500+ cycles, while the 314 Ah, 392 Ah and 588 Ah models featured 8,000+ cycles. The 105 Ah, 314 Ah and 588 Ah models were listed with 0.5P/0.5P charge/discharge rates, while the 392 Ah model featured a 0.5C/0.5C rate.

A comparison with Highstar's official website confirmed several specifications, including the 50 Ah, Series 50 100 Ah P3, M3 and E3, and 314 Ah models. However, the website lists different 100 Ah Series 40 configurations, making exact model identification necessary when comparing cycle-life figures.

The exhibition brochure displayed IEC 62619, UL 1973, UL 9540A, UN 38.3, BIS and GB/T 36276 markings across selected cell models. Highstar's official website separately identifies testing capabilities covering IEC 62619, UL 1973 and BIS. The displayed markings do not establish that every model holds all listed certifications.

Highstar positioned its prismatic LFP portfolio as an All-Scenario Solution, highlighting four product advantages: High Safety, High Consistency, High Quality and High Performance. The exhibition material focused on battery cell specifications and performance characteristics without disclosing product pricing, manufacturing volumes or commercial delivery schedules.
