LONGi Solar has launched the LONGi ONE full-stack BESS portfolio at Intersolar Europe 2026. The portfolio includes utility-scale, commercial and industrial and microgrid storage solutions, featuring OneBank 2.0 with up to 6.9 MWh capacity and AI-enabled energy management. LONGi Solar, a Chinese solar PV technology manufacturer has launched its LONGi ONE BESS range at Intersolar Europe 2026. The full-stack portfolio combines Back Contact (BC) PV module technology with an in-house developed 5S energy storage framework. The range is designed for utility-scale power generation, commercial and industrial (C&I), off-grid and weak-grid projects.
According to the manufacturer, the architecture is intended to address issues associated with multi-vendor solar-plus-storage systems. These include fragmented system design, efficiency losses, longer delivery timelines and unclear accountability when technical failures occur.
For utility-scale megaprojects, the portfolio features OneBank 2.0, an AC/DC integrated system with a nominal capacity of 6.25 to 6.9 MWh. The utility-scale portfolio also includes OneMatrix 2.0, a turnkey plant-level solution using pluggable string Power Conversion System (PCS) units. PCS units manage the flow of electrical energy between batteries, solar modules and the grid across 2-, 4- or 8-hour storage configurations.
For other market segments, LONGi has introduced specialized solutions. Hi-MO One Pro BESS is designed for C&I customers seeking to optimize self-consumption and manage electricity price volatility. For remote or weak-grid regions, the OneNexus microgrid system is designed to provide localized power.
System control is managed through a unified layer featuring OneSync PCS and OneOS, a cloud-edge, AI-driven energy management platform. OneOS can operate as a Virtual Power Plant (VPP), analyzing market price signals and weather patterns to support autonomous asset dispatch and scheduling.
LONGi said the native hardware-software integration provides operational and financial benefits. OneBank 2.0 and OneMatrix 2.0 achieve 93% system round-trip efficiency, which the company said is four percentage points higher than typical standalone architectures. Round-trip efficiency refers to the percentage of stored electrical energy delivered back after accounting for charging and discharging losses.
The company said cluster-level battery management can increase lifetime energy output by up to 8%. In high-cycle applications, this supports a 2% to 4% increase in stakeholder ROI. LONGi also said factory-integrated components can reduce on-site deployment and equipment installation timelines by 20% to 30%.
The company also outlined safety features in the new BESS portfolio. The range builds on LONGi’s stated record of 13 GW of global energy storage deployments with zero reported thermal runaway events. Physical safety features include thickened rock wool insulation within the OneBank 2.0 structure for fire resistance.
The portfolio also incorporates the patented Intelligent Cell Connection System (iCCS). The system uses predictive AI to identify potential internal battery cell risks three to six months in advance. It also provides operators with a 15-minute warning window to support risk mitigation.
To support assets over a 25-year lifecycle, LONGi introduced the 2830 Plan. This is to be achieved through the creation of 30 centers of excellence (CoEs) throughout major markets worldwide by the year 2028.
Following the successful opening of its first European CoE in Madrid, Spain in March, LONGi intends to adopt the concept throughout Europe. The localized infrastructure is intended to provide developers with a single local contact point for lifecycle support and reduce multi-vendor responsibility issues.
