Pace Digitek expands BESS manufacturing capacity to 5 GWh

India-based Pace Digitek Ltd, a provider of telecom power systems and renewable energy solutions, has commissioned an additional 2.5 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing line through its subsidiary, Lineage Power Pvt Ltd (LPPL). The commissioning increases the group's installed BESS manufacturing capacity from 2.5 GWh to 5 GWh.

According to the company, the expanded manufacturing capacity will support its growing order book, project pipeline and product supplies. It also expects the additional production line to improve operational and cost efficiencies.

The company has also stated that it has manufactured more than 300 utility-scale BESS containers over the past year. These containers represent around 1.5 GWh of battery energy storage capacity.

Pace Digitek said the increased manufacturing capacity will help execute its growing BESS order book and project pipeline across utility-scale as well as commercial and industrial (C&I) applications.
