U.S.-based energy storage solutions provider, NeoVolta, has formed NeoVolta Power, LLC, a joint venture with PotisEdge and LONGi to develop a 2 GWh BESS manufacturing facility in Pendergrass, Georgia. The new manufacturing platform is designed to supply utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage markets.

NeoVolta holds a 60% stake in NeoVolta Power, LLC, and oversees product strategy, commercialization, and customer engagement. PotisEdge holds 20% and contributes large-scale BESS manufacturing expertise, while remaining 20% stake is held by strategic investors, provides additional technical and operational support.

The joint venture will locate its manufacturing facility in Georgia's Pendergrass with plans to begin mass production in mid-2026. Initial operations will focus on prismatic-cell battery pack assembly and DC container integration, supporting about 89 production roles, with capacity scalable to 8 GWh annually.

PotisEdge operates as part of LONGi Green Energy, a global renewable energy manufacturer with operations across solar manufacturing and energy infrastructure supply chains. The joint venture combines NeoVolta’s U.S. market presence and product strategy with PotisEdge’s BESS manufacturing systems and LONGi’s industrial scale.

Industry analysis from the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) indicates utility-scale and C&I systems may generate around USD 200 per kWh, with 2 GWh of annual output illustrating potential revenue of about USD 400 million, subject to market conditions.

Funding for the joint venture is supported by equity and debt commitments anchored by Infinite Grid Capital that NeoVolta announced USD 13 million private placements in November 2025. As capacity expands, the platform is expected to pursue project-level debt financing, incentive monetization, and other standard funding mechanisms used for U.S. manufacturing facilities.
