China-based battery manufacturer, EVE Energy and Sweden-based energy system integrator Vimab BESS AB have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during GENERA Energy and Environment International Trade Fair 2025 in Madrid, Spain. The agreement aims to enable the deployment of 1.48 GWh of energy storage projects across Northern Europe.
Under the agreement, EVE Energy supplies energy storage batteries, system solutions and corresponding technical support to facilitate Vimab’s energy storage business activities in Sweden and other European markets. The first orders are scheduled for delivery in December, marking the initial phase of implementation.
Europe’s varying climate and regulatory requirements increase the need for energy storage systems with stable performance, safety, and reliability. EVE Energy offers high-density solutions with intelligent management features and will support Vimab BESS AB through delivery, installation, and operation. The collaboration also aligns with EVE Energy’s ongoing European expansion through regional partnerships and localized services supported by its German office. The company plans to continue product development and explore additional partnerships to support the global deployment of energy storage systems.
CEO of Vimab DOO, a subsidiary of Vimab BESS AB, Aleksandra Kostic said the Nordic storage market is expanding and noted that EVE Energy’s technical capabilities align with Vimab’s project needs.
Jimmy Ye, European Sales Director of Energy Storage at EVE Energy, said, Vimab BESS AB contributes project execution experience and added that both companies plan to expand localized support in Europe.
