Trina Storage, a China-based energy storage business of Trinasolar, has signed Bramley as its third UK BESS project with Clarke Energy and Temporis Capital. The project will deploy the latest version of Trina Storage's Elementa solution, and it is scheduled to connect to the grid in 2027. With Bramley added, the three projects represent more than 145 MW / 290 MWh of battery storage.

Bramley builds on two earlier projects. The partnership began with Boat of Garten, which was signed in 2024 and has since been connected, and it continued with Fraserburgh, whose energisation is scheduled for 2027. Taken in order, the three projects show how the Elementa platform has evolved.

The partners' role will continue after the projects have been built. Clarke Energy and Trina Storage will support the assets through revenue-aligned long-term service agreements (LTSAs). Under these agreements, maintenance can be scheduled around tolling arrangements, and advanced metering allows a single site to hold multiple Capacity Market contracts.

This work forms part of a wider relationship between Trina Storage and Rehlko, of which Clarke Energy is a part. The two companies have signed an MoU to collaborate in the UK market, with Trina Storage contributing its battery technology and lifetime warranted performance, and Clarke Energy contributing its experience in delivering integrated solutions.

Both companies have presented the projects as the result of a long-term partnership. "Expanding our collaboration with Temporis Capital and Clarke Energy across three projects reflects the strong relationship we have built together in the UK market," said Gabriele Buccini, Head of Trina Storage Europe. Adam Wray-Summerson, Technical Sales Director at Clarke Energy, said that "our collaboration with Trina Storage and Temporis Capital demonstrates the value of building strong, long-term partnerships across the battery storage sector."

Trina Storage is a business unit of Trina Solar, and it was established in 2015.
